A Note from Jane Ryan
I love hearing from those who have read 'The Boarder' novel or screenplay. And I especially value hearing from parents or professionals who have experienced children with any degree of attachment disorder... especially those parents or professionals, like I felt in the past, who feel isolated and are ready to reach out to others who understand and KNOW about these disturbed children.
As a nurse and therapist I have been teaching parents and professionals about attachment disorders, including the most profound degree, Reactive Attachment Disorder, for more than two decades, and have provided workshops across the United States, in Canada and the United Kingdom. I have no intention to quit offering educational opportunities or supporting anyone interested in learning more about the attachment process, why some children don't bond, and what happens when when they don't.
